WFS-Wirtschaftsförderung Sigmaringen GmbH & Co. KG
The aim of the WFS business development organisation is to support the regional economy, in particular by creating an attractive location for companies of all sizes and sectors
WFS is a strong partner for companies in the town of Sigmaringen.
In addition to promoting the regional economy, WFS supports the retail trade in Sigmaringen, with the revitalisation of the town centre being an important part of its work.
Another mainstay is the marketing of the Graf-Stauffenberg inter-municipal business and industrial park, to which nine neighbouring towns and municipalities belong. The association aims to promote the civilian reutilisation of the former military site and thus create development areas of supra-regional importance and pursues the overarching goal of creating and securing jobs in the region.
A special feature of the WFS is its focus on innovation and sustainability. The Sigmaringen Innovation Campus, which is operated by WFS-Wirtschaftsförderung Sigmaringen, comprises the Academy, the Research Factory and the Start-up Centre and cooperates with the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences. The WFS acts as a reliable partner in the transfer of knowledge and technology to companies.
The Innovation Campus Academy develops and offers further training programmes for regional companies. Thanks to ISO 9001:2015 and AZAV certification, the Innovation Campus Academy fulfils the highest quality standards.
The Sigmaringen Innovation Campus has several seminar rooms of different sizes, which can be rented flexibly on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
