Managing Director Jochen Barg supports businesses in the skilled trades, retail and service sectors in the region and beyond. The range of services covers traditional IT infrastructure as well as its day-to-day operation: network planning and setup, firewall and security solutions, server and storage systems, backup and disaster recovery plans, and the implementation and administration of Microsoft 365.
Through managed services contracts, b-it barg handles maintenance, monitoring and support on predictable terms.
What sets the company apart from pure service providers is the depth of its in-house development capabilities. For clients with processes that are difficult to replicate using standard products, bespoke applications are created – such as a mobile reporting app that allows site managers to record working hours and materials directly on site, with the client signing off via a tablet.
A particular focus is on AI-powered document automation. An in-house development automatically parses incoming invoices and receipts, identifies duplicates and transfers the documents – already tagged with keywords – to the document management system. Processing takes place exclusively on German servers in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Customers appreciate the short lines of communication: a dedicated contact person who is familiar with the entire environment, explains technical decisions and can be reached immediately in the event of a fault.
