Strategic city and tourism marketing for Konstanz

Marketing und Tourismus Konstanz GmbH (MTK) is the central marketing and tourism organisation for the city of Konstanz. It was created from the merger of Stadtmarketing Konstanz GmbH and Tourist-Information Konstanz GmbH with the aim of combining and strategically coordinating tourism, city and location marketing.

MTK's main task is to market Konstanz both internally and externally and to make the city more attractive as a tourist destination, business location and place to live. To this end, the company develops marketing strategies, organises communication and advertising measures and works closely with local partners such as restaurants, hotels, retailers, businesses and cultural institutions.

In addition to these strategic tasks, MTK also performs operational activities. These include running the tourist information office, press and public relations work, marketing tourist offers and events, and looking after guests.

The company also operates two campsites in Konstanz, which are part of the city's tourist offering. MTK's work is based on principles such as quality, innovation, sustainability, hospitality and cooperation. Overall, the company sees itself as a service provider and coordinator for city and tourism marketing, with the aim of strengthening and developing the Konstanz brand in the long term.
