Stadt Ravensburg

The Office for Communication, Politics and Society is responsible for the City of Ravensburg’s external communication.

It pursues a cross-media approach that combines traditional press work with digital channels such as social media, newsletters, the website and, from 2025, a new official gazette. It also manages campaigns and project communication on key municipal topics and ensures a consistent external image for the administration. Political planning in the office monitors social developments and derives strategies from them.

The municipal council office organises meetings digitally and provides administrative support to city councillors. It also oversees the committee work of two special-purpose associations and advises the administrative management on organisational matters. Municipal law also falls under this area.

The Society division covers civic engagement, including the volunteer agency and support for associations. The aim is to strengthen social cohesion. International partnerships are also managed, including city, school and solidarity partnerships.
