There are many regional topic and industry networks, so-called cluster initiatives, around Lake Constance. The synergies, both within the cluster initiatives and across clusters, help companies and scientific institutions to exchange experiences and establish co-operations.
The meetings of the Lake Constance Cluster Initiatives (CLIB) bring together representatives of the regional economy, chambers of commerce, local authorities and the relevant business development organisations. Promoting the further development of the networks in the VLRB is the primary objective of the CLIB. The CLIB ensures the transfer of knowledge between the networks and clusters. It also takes care of the promotion and development of existing and new networks.
